How is Valentine Day Celebrated Worldwide?



Valentine day is  celebrated  in more or less every country with great fanfare, however, with a twist. The people of every country follow different traditions while celebrating the day. Let's have a look at how people of different countries observe this day:-
China- In China, a man offers chocolates and flowers to the woman he loves. In this country, Valentine's day is often termed as 'lovers festival.' The legend says that on this day, a cowherder and a weaving maid tied the knot.
Finland- In Finland, Valentine's day is synonymous with 'Friend's day.' Therefore, this day is meant for remembering all friends rather than just the loved ones.

France- This traditional Catholic country celebrates Valentine day in a similar manner as celebrated in western countries.
